A8-20 ex Military Jet Maintenance Services

HHA is the largest commercial fast jet operator in Europe and owns, operates and maintains its fleet of aircraft in addition to undertaking third party work.

We are the only company in Europe to be Approved and Regulated by both the Ministry of Defence and the Civil Aviation Authority with regard to the Operation, Maintenance and Modification / Design Clearances for aircraft of legacy Military Origin.

Specifically, the following approvals are currently held;

Military – DE&S / TESD AvP67. Approval to own, operate and maintain aircraft operating on the Military register on military contract work.

Civil - Approvals (DAI 9825/02) in all for all three categories of legacy military aircraft operating on the civil register; Simple, Intermediate and Complex.:

E4 - Approval to make Design Recommendations for ex-military civil registered aircraft. i.e. Modifications and initial Permit To Fly applications.
M5 - Approval to maintain ex-military civil registered aircraft.
CAP 632 - Approval to operate ex-military civil registered aircraft.

HHA is competent with all aspects of the Evaluation of Aircraft and Aircraft Systems for specific roles; the subsequent sourcing of the Aircraft, Design Verification & Certification ( including safety assessment), Modification for bespoke taskings and all activities required for avionics / aeromechanical integration and the provision of airborne support services.

All of the HHA engineering staff are ex senior NCO’s from the RAF. Due to many of our aircraft operating on the military register on behalf of HM Government, our working practices and engineering standards mirror those found in the Royal Air Force today. Under the leadership of HHA's Chief Engineer Mick Elliot, our team of engineers can draw on a cumulative total in excess of 385,000 man hrs experience working on military aircraft. This covers virtually the entire range of aircraft which have been in RAF Service from the mid 1960's to the present day.
